In April 2013, the IFQP seminar was hosted at our Training Center , with the participation of 17 members of the international aviation community . The seminar brought together staff from the Athens International Airport , Myanmar Petroleum Product Enterprises, Air Canada, Onur Air, South African CAA, TACV and Jet2.com
This year’s Trainers , Mr. Raphael Tscharland of Swiss and Mr. Kevin Flick of UPS, along with the specialized OFC team of trainers, have guided the trainees through an extensive training course, consisting of both theoretical and practical sessions based on fuel quality controls, safety fuelling procedures, maintenance of fuelling facilities and familiarization with the Checklist and procedures for Inspections.
On the closing day, all trainees passed the written examinations and were awarded with a Training Certificate.
OFC Aviation Fuel Services SA, has been awarded by the Athens International Airport (AIA) Company, in 1998, for the design, financing, construction and operation of the receiving, storage and distribution via Hydrant Refueling System of aviation fuel facilities for a concession period of 23 years.
