The Training addressed all topics related to Aviation Fuel Handling, Testing , Operations and HSSE issues.
Main topics of the Training were: Fuel specifications, Contamination Sources and detection, fuel receipt-starage-distribution in a Hydrant System, Into-Plane refuelling, fixed and mobile equipment Maintenance, Static, Fire safety, Environmental Protection and Records.
It included both theoretical and practical (hands-on) sessions, such as execution of all types of fuel quality control checks/tests, contamination detection, microbiological growth, colorimetric membrane tests, particle counting, filter inspection, pit valves integrity and dynamic testings, hydrant fuel pit inspection and low point drain sampling, hose pressure test, and Into-Plane refuelling (pressurized and overwing).
